4 Stars: Shadow Demons was the twist in the series. Harper had to go through a lot of changes. In the beginning of the story she was a normal witch (well as normal as she could be.) By the end of the story she had found out how her mother died and who did it. The last thing that she thought would happen, her mom's killer came after her.I really enjoyed this book but it wasn't the best of the series. My favorite character has to be Jackson because he is dark and dangerous. I relate to Harper because she really believes that she doesn't belong with the witches and neither do I.
