Shadow Demons: Peachville High series review

4 Stars: Shadow Demons was the twist in the series. Harper had to go through a lot of changes. In the beginning of the story she was a normal witch (well as normal as she could be.) By the end of the story she had found out how her mother died and who did it. The last thing that she thought would happen, her mom's killer came after her.

I really enjoyed this book but it wasn't the best of the series. My favorite character has to be Jackson because he is dark and dangerous. I relate to Harper because she really believes that she doesn't belong with the witches and neither do I.

In Peachville, there's a fine line between good and evil.

That line is about to be crossed.

Bitter Demons: Peachville high Review

5 stars: Bitter Demons has to be my favorite Peachville High book yet! I LOVED the story!! All of the adventure and heart breaks kept me hooked on this book from the beginning to the end. I also liked how we got to hear Jackson's story, finally. When I read this book I really felt like I was part if it. Another fabulous job by Ms. Cannon.
The characters are excellent! Harper is the prima, she has great power and huge responsibilities. Jackson is a demon with a deep dark secret. Lark is Harper's BFF. Brooke is a strange girl that is constantly trying to get back at Harper. Mary Anne is a very weird girl, she is always in her room alone.

I believe everyone should get a chance to read this book! I can't wait to read the next one. :)

Don't Tell: Dark Secrets Review

2 Stars: If I didn't start this book I wouldn't have finished it. I thought the story was a little creepy and strange. There were to many twists in the story. The only thing I liked about it was the love between Nick and Lauren.

The characters were all pretty well formed. Lauren, the girl who left because her mom died. Then there's Nora. Mysterious, dark, frightening, emotional, and down right crazy. Oh, and Holly, evil, nice, dangerous, and secretive.
Aunt Jule was loving, caring, patient, and sometimes rude.
And last, of course, Nick. Gorgeous, playful, nice, caring, dark, and adorable.

What really happened to Mother?

Lauren has come home seven years after her famous mother's mysterious drowning.

They said it was an accident, but the tabloids screamed murder. Her father, a senator, hadn't protected her. Aunt Jule was her only refuge, the beloved godmother she's returning to see.

Lauren stops at Wisteria's annual street festival and meets Nick, a tease, a flirt, and a childhood playmate. The day is almost perfect -- until she realizes she's being watched.

Arriving at Aunt Jule's, Lauren is shocked at the decay of the riverfront home. Aunt Jule seems angry and defensive, even as she fusses over Lauren at her daughter Holly's expense. Nora, Jule's other daughter, is silent and spooky, and stares at Lauren with frightening intensity. Meanwhile, Nick has acted as if he wants to be more than Lauren's friend. So why is he suddenly glued to Holly and almost hostile to Lauren? How can she trust him -- especially now that a series of nasty "accidents" makes Lauren realize that somebody wants her dead? This time, there's no place to run.

Legacy of Lies:Dark Secrets Review

3.5 stars: I enjoyed the mystery in this book. The ongoing questions kept me reading until the end. I usually don't like mysteries but I recommend this one to everyone.

Megan Tilby went to visit her grandmother and cousin for a few weeks. Since Megan was adopted her and Matt (her cousin) aren't blood related. She gets to the house and her grandmother hates her. Her cousin doesn't like her, either.

A few days after getting to the house Megan begins to hear rumors about Avril, a 16-year-old girl that died in Megan's grandmother's house years before. Avril had been Helen's (her grandma) sister.

Megan goes to see a psychic. She tells Megan a story about Avril's death. The woman had said that Avril was murdered and that Megan was the reincarnation of Avril. That had explained the weird dreams she was having of the past. In one of her dreams her grandma had sworn that she would seek revenge on Avril.

Megan had been convinced that Helen had killed Avril but she was wrong.Who had killed Avril and why?

Inner Demons:Peachville High Book 2 Review

4 stars: Inner Demons, by Sarra Cannon, is one of the best books I've ever read! The story is really good. I really connected with Harper.

Inner Demons is about Harper and the other cheerleaders. Her and the other girls do a ritual and Harper ends up with a tattoo. The tattoo is demon shaped and it moves (because it's magic.) Cool, right?

Brooke gets her demon during the yearly initiation and gets into the witch group. All seniors have to go through the initiation. Brooke changes after hers. Harper had sneaked in but now she doesn't want to get in.

What will Harper do next?

I enjoyed reading this book very much. I believe that you will enjoy it, too!

Becoming a Demons cheerleader was the last thing Harper Madison expected when she moved to the small town of Peachville. Now that she’s an official member of the squad, her training can begin. Only, this is no normal group of cheerleaders. Harper isn’t there to learn dances and cheers. She became a cheerleader in order to finally learn how to control the magic inside.

The Peachville Demons cheerleading squad is really a training ground for a powerful coven of witches called the Order of Shadows. The training opens up a new world for Harper. It’s a world of beauty and magic beyond her wildest dreams, but also a world of pressure and impossible expectations.

A world where every secret hides an even darker secret.

Beautiful Demons: Peachville High series book 1

4 stars: Beautiful Demons is a very mysterious book. I loved all of the characters! I really felt like I was part of the story. It pretty much sucked me into it with its great characters, plot, and mysteries. Harper was my fave because of her powers.

Beautiful Demons is about Harper. She is a foster child that just can't fit in anywhere and is constantly getting kicked out of fosters homes. She has this power, she can move things with her mind and doesn't think anyone can do that too until she moves to Shadowford. Shadowford is a foster house for the troubled girls like Harper. At Shadowford Harper meets Agnes, a very enthusiastic girl and Jackson, a mysterious boy. Although Harper thinks nothing can get any worse she ends up passing out and having a weird vision. When she wakes she has a strange cut on her hand and can't remember anything. Everyone says that when she fell she cut her hand and she believed them until the head-cheerleader was killed(burned from the inside.) When she goes back to school all of the cheerleaders adore Harper, even though they should hate her. Harper wants to know why all of this is happening and why she can't remember anything.

Will Harper ever get her memory back? Who had burned the head-cheerleader from the inside and how?

This story rocks! Well, and has witches and demons... so, yeah, go read it.

In Peachville, even the cheerleaders have a dark side...

Harper Madison isn't like other girls. She has extraordinary powers, but her inability to control them has gotten her kicked from so many foster homes she's lost count. Shadowford Home for Girls is her last chance, and she hopes Peachville High will be the fresh start she needs.

But when evidence ties her to the gruesome murder of a Demons cheerleader, Harper discovers this small town has a big secret.

Beautiful Demons is a fast-paced YA novel with magic, mystery, and a touch of romance. This series will appeal to fans of Pretty Little Liars, Hex Hall, and The Vampire Diaries.

Diary of a Vampeen: Vamp Chronicles Book 1 Review

5 Stars: Diary of a Vampeen captured my full attention with this amazing story! I just couldn't put this book down!!

Diary of a Vampeen, by Christin Lovell, is a story about 15-year-old Lexi who feels very self conscience about her body size. Lexi meets a boy named Kellan. She, despite her boyfriend Mike, instantly has a crush on Kellan. On her 16th birthday she goes through big changes. She turned into a vampeen, 3/4 human and 1/4 vampire. Lexi finds out that Kellan is also like her. Although Lexi is now the hottest girl in her school she isn't sure that she is ready to be a vampeen.

This story was the best of both worlds for me. Vampires and teens stretching their wings(not that they have wings.) Ms. Lovell's voice was perfect for this type of book and I look forward to reading the rest of the series.

fresh start in a remote town far from her native Colorado. Among the locker filled hallways in Clark Bend High, Ana keeps to the shadows, not wanting to draw attention to her violet tinged lips and wilted silhouette. And she almost succeeds, until she meets Chance Morgan.

Introductions and all that...

Hola, I have decided to put my reading skills to action. This blog is my way of stating my opinion about what I have read and sharing my love for all things paranormal. I love reading. But, I guess I LOVE to express my opinion about things I love just as much. You could ask everybody that knows me!  They'll all tell you that I'm mouthy, I mean opinionated. :)
